Approval Studio for Microsoft Teams · Effective 1 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the Approval Studio app for Microsoft Teams (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to them.

1. The service

The App connects your Microsoft Teams account to your Approval Studio account and delivers notifications about your Approval Studio projects (review requests, approvals, rejections, uploads, task completions, and optional comments), with links that open the relevant proof in Approval Studio. The App is a companion to the Approval Studio service and does not replace it.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You need a valid Approval Studio account and access to Microsoft Teams.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts and for activity that occurs under them.
• Your use of Approval Studio remains subject to the main Approval Studio Terms of Service; your use of Microsoft Teams is subject to Microsoft’s terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to access data you are not authorized to see, interfering with its operation, reverse-engineering it, or using it to violate any law or third-party rights.

4. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, and content are owned by Approval Studio (HiTech Service LLC) and protected by applicable laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App; they do not transfer any ownership.

6. Third-party services

The App relies on Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft Bot Framework, and on the Approval Studio service. We are not responsible for those third-party services, and their availability or terms may change.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that every notification will be delivered.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Approval Studio (HiTech Service LLC) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from Teams. We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; we will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the App or our website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
