Request asset upload

Create a request for your designer to upload a new design review file into the project to start working on it in Approval Studio.

Request changed asset

After the first iteration was reviewed, you can send a change request to the designer for them to upload a new artwork version with the requested edits.

Internal design review task

Ask your teammates to review the uploaded mockup in the online proofing tool and either approve it or submit a design change request.

Reference document request

If you need a reference file or link to jumpstart the project or add some important information, create a task to add it for one of your colleagues.

Create an assignment

 

Assignments can be created in the project menu’s Files tab. In its Assets part, you can request a new file or version upload and assign internal or external review. Reference documents let you work with references and send a request to create a new one.

Task assignment tab

 

Internal tasks have an assignment tab where you can add a due date, description, and assignee that can be a single user or a user group. In the group, you can choose if the task needs to be completed by all members or just any of them.

My tasks

 

All your active tasks are indicated on the panel to the left of your dashboard. Task boards include the information that was filled in by the project owner together with project name and project tags.

Active tasks

Project owners can check what tasks are currently active in the General tab of the project menu. If you want to see the completed ones as well, click on Show all to make all tasks visible. Design review verdicts and completion dates are also visible.

External review

 

External reviews are also registered as tasks, so project owners will be able to see them and their assignee’s email in the Active Tasks until the design review is completed.

Completion level

 

On the project boards, project owners can track how many tasks within the design review and approval process have been completed and the competition percentage.
