Release Notes: February 2022

Congrats! The new version of Approval Studio is online! The first release of 2022 brings both design and functional enhancements.

You might notice that we started to get rid of the old design elements and shortcuts to the old dashboard. The new interface became the primary one, but we are still keeping the ways to go back to the old design, for now. We upgraded the “All projects” screen for admins and hid the Old Dashboard icon.

We continue working on the system redesign, and the next section to receive a new look is Settings. 4 Years ago, our Settings section was nice and easy, but we have added so many features since then that managing those might be a headache. We will do our best to make our new Settings screen simple and intuitive again. Stay tuned for the new updates.

It’s time for the big functionality updates! We introduce the “Selective Approval” method – an ability to approve one or several options from the list of assets. Let’s say you’ve prepared 5 different designs for your clients, turn on the Selective Approval method in the settings and send those 5 variants for review.

Your client will be able to select the 1 design that fits the best and approve it, all other variants will be rejected. It’s ok if you want to go with several options from the list. Just select the assets you like and approve those. “Selective Approval” is available for both Lite and Pro versions. To enable the Selective Approval method, navigate to the Company management tab.
