Release Notes: July 2022

Congratulations, the new version of Approval Studio is online! This night we deployed the latest version of Approval Studio with new features and bug fixes.

The first and major change of this update is Advanced Search. A small icon next to the Quick Search filter is easy to miss but contains powerful functionality. The new advanced search is swift and allows you to find a project by any keyword among completed, archived, and even deleted projects.

But finding a project is one thing. What you gonna do when you find one? We’ve added bulk actions that allow you to manage the projects you find – move them to archive, reactivate or delete the old ones.
Simply select the projects you need, select the bulk action and confirm it. You don’t need to delete projects one by one or reactivate the brand line product by product. Select project – choose an action – confirm it. Done!

Company admins will have their own search dashboard that allows them to find all company users’ projects and track the overall company progress. If you are a company admin, in the right upper corner of your dashboard, find the “All” tab and click on it. Now, you can see what’s the current status of all jobs in the company. Fill free to open any project and check the progress.

But that’s not it. In the next release, we are going to add something HUGE! Something that will allow you to find the weakest spot in your workflow and increase the speed of your projects. So stay tuned for news.
You might notice the slight design enhancements in the Proof report and project timeline among small changes. The functionality remained untouched, so all your favorite features are there. Users reviewing video files will also be glad to see the proof report working for videos. It’s been a long time since we added the support of .mp4 files, but the Proof report was not available for those. We have finally come up with the data that should be included in the report and implemented it. Thanks to all the users who helped us in this research.

Of course, we are fixing the bugs you found just like in every release. Lots of things were fixed, but I won’t go through all of them. Approval Studio became more smooth, faster, and easier to use. If you reported the problem to our support team, be sure — it’s fixed now.
