Approval Studio has a Google Doc-stylized panel that shows you the avatar and username of the person who is currently reviewing the file with you.

Annotations appear live

All design annotations added by your teammates will appear on your screen instantly as the system is fully online and doesn’t require you to refresh the page to see the new comments.

Traceable feedback

Each annotation has a reviewer’s name, a comment name, and a comment number for traceability. React to any comment using a built-in emoji pack.

Add attachments

You can add one attachment to any of your comments to illustrate the point better. Any PNG, JPEG, DOC, or PDF files can be added to the feedback.

Hide annotations

See the design fully, without any comments to make your own mind or study it better. Hide annotations in the top annotation menu. The left panel will still be visible.

To-do list system

The comments are made in a to-do list system. If the issue is resolved, you can tick the checkbox, and the comment will turn green on the asset and in the left panel.

Attach

Each comment can have a file attached if you need to provide some info or an example with it. If the attached file is an image, its thumbnail can be previewed right in the comments panel.

Delete

If you made a mistake or find the annotation you made no longer relevant, you can delete it.

Reply

In order to maintain organized online design collaboration with your colleagues, you can reply to annotations and start whole discussions. All replies will also be visible online to all review session participants.

Resolve

Each annotation can be highlighted and marked as “resolved” if you’ve come to an agreement about the issue.

Hide

Separate comments can be hidden from external reviewers if you want to discuss something exclusively with your internal team.
