What’s a discussion tab?

We’ve created a separate discussion tab in the project menu. It is meant for internal team communication about general project issues not necessarily connected to specific files and design annotations. You can use this project chat to keep in touch with your team even before any files are uploaded.

Work with annotations

 

The discussion tab also allows you to check the newest design annotations to specific files and their versions and engage with them directly. This will save you some time if do not need to go to the proofing tool again.

Check the latest updates

 

With this function, you can switch between files and their design versions, see how many annotations they have, or fold the ones you do not currently need.

Engage in conversation

 

All messaging options present in the design review tool are applicable here in the same way. Clicking on the specific asset version, you can reply to the annotations, attach files to your comments or delete them, and tag users.

Internal discussions

 

In the same manner as proofing tool annotations, discussion messages have various options. You can reply to them, add attachments, or even tag a specific person that you want to talk to.

Continue in the review tool

 

After the discussion is started, it will also appear in the review tool as a separate panel so that you can check the project chat and continue the discussion from there if necessary.

The discussion tab is also exported as a separate page in your design review report so that you could keep track of every message that was sent by your team.
