Christmas Present Wrapping Ideas in 2023

Christmas Present Wrapping Ideas in 2023

Well, well, well… holidays are coming! *Coca-Cola theme is playing in the background* I love this song and commercial, and, of course, I love to prepare Christmas presents for my nearest and dearest. And I absolutely love choosing wrapping. Sometimes I even think of the wrapping than of the present itself – that’s a rather funny side effect of working at a design software company…

When the present lays under the fancy Christmas tree, it should be as tempting to open as it gets. Your family and friends should want the present you’ve prepared! Thus, I care that much about wrapping and try to be different every single year.  Thus, I often try to find some inspiration all over the internet, and this year is special. I have found many wonderful Christmas wrapping ideas this year and cannot wait to share those with you.

If you were my grandma, you would say that black wrapping for flowers and presents is for funerals. Do not be like my grandma. Matte black paper is a wonderful color that automatically makes your present stylish and classy. Use black paper, black stripes, and then add some contrasting detail – green or white will do an excellent trick.

Nature gives us the best

Use a sunny day for a short walk and get away from it all. While you are at it, take a look at spruces or pines with their gorgeous fur and also at some rowan berries. It is not a recipe for a magic potion… unless you want to wrap it well! You will be surprised how well these ingredients suit your present wrapping.

Thumbprints

When you are at the police department and need to make a thumbprint, police should use Christmas colors. This is my demand! Although it is definitely going to fail, you can still use that idea for your gift wrapping. Buy some parchment paper, draw a wire, and leave colorful thumbprints all over it. Such garland is going to look sooooo cute, and your loved ones will be touched!

Monochrome all over

Being a fan of everything minimalistic, I particularly suggest this idea to you. When it comes to Christmas wrapping, we usually see red, white, and green colors on all people’s gifts. I do not mind since it is what makes the whole atmosphere.

However, if you are tired of such colors, monochrome wrapping will suit your gift the best. What is more, I suggest you use the same paper for all details of your wrapping. This is going to make your present outstanding!

Personalized photo wrapping

If you want to surprise your family, this Christmas wrapping idea will be wonderful! Use some photos of your family together or any photo that warms your heart. Stick it on the monochrome wrapping paper so the photo is the only thing that brings attention. You may use some details that would highlight the photo.

What is more, you may go online and order some personalized wrapping paper with the photos printed on the paper. This variant will also look cute and unique! Just one thing – don’t overdo it so that the pictures get folded on the edges of your package and look all over the place.

A little suggestion to designers who are creating their own packages for mass printing or working on some original ideas: in order to get everything organized in your Christmas projects, we offer you our Approval Studio proofing tool. It is a simple solution that will help you and your clients to review your work before it goes to print to make sure everything is the way it is supposed to be. We have version comparisons, reports, and much more!

That is it! I really hope that those ideas inspired you and you are going to visit your local gift store soon. In fact, you’d better hurry – Christmas is tomorrow, and Boxing day follows right behind. I believe your nearest and dearest will be touched when they get your gifts.

I hope you’ll have a great time with your family during this Christmas season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This guy knows a lot about branding, have no doubt. He can cover in details everything starting from sports apparel and ending with some Swiss watches or chocolate - whatever you like. A tidbit crazy over sneakers, but nevermind, that's fine for someone who never misses a single football match (please don't call it soccer, otherwise he'll get mad, thank you very much). As well as the rest of the team, very enthusiastic about proofing tools and communication with people.
